“Let Kannada Rajyotsava 2019 enlighten new dreams, new motives, faith, determination and strength in all.”
National Public School, Hosur road celebrated Kannada Rajyotsava which is also known as Karnataka Formation Day with a splash of music, dance and motivating talk by students.
The event began with a brief talk on Kannada Rajyotsava by the grade 2 students. The dance performance on a folk song of Karnataka, which depicted the culture of Karnataka in true sense by the students of grades IV and V mesmerised everyone.
Teachers also joined their voices in singing ‘Jogada sire Belakinnali’ of K. S. Nissar Ahmad to express their love and patriotism towards Karnataka.
Speaking on the occasion, our principal, Ms. Nagaveni, gave a meaningful message on how to cultivate love for kannada language and culture. Connecting the occasion to the Iron man of India Sardar Vallabhai Patel, she motivated all the students to grow in love and freedom.
The assembly culminated with singing of the state anthem ‘Jai Bharata Jananiya Tanujathe.’ The celebration truly captured the spirit of the day.
