“When learning is purposeful creativity blossoms, when creativity blossoms thinking emanates. When thinking emanates knowledge is fully lit. When knowledge is lit the economy flourishes”
Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam
It has become imperative for education to be broad-based, creative and purposeful, as we face new kind of challenges in the world today. Learning has to be purposeful and encourage innovative thinking and not just impart academic knowledge.
We need to therefore empower children with a variety of key life-skills to help them cope with changing times. It has become essential to build character in children, teach them resilience and the art of adapting to a transformative world. This kind of an education will facilitate a community of enlightened and emotionally-intelligent citizens, which is the need of the hour.
At NPS, our aim is to provide holistic education that holds the key to unlock the potential in children in a new-age world. Visit the website to view our core team!
At NPS Hosur Road, we allow the child to grow at their own pace as well. Teachers are trained to identify and enable a child’s natural flair for a particular subject or skill. That is really the hallmark of NPS – to be able to successfully nurture the individual learning needs of each child.
Our teachers are the core of NPS Hosur Road. They are handpicked after a deep scrutiny ensuring that only the best in the profession enter our system. To be in sync with the latest developments in education, the teachers continuously participate in training programs and workshops conducted by the school.
All the teaching techniques have been internally developed by the NPS institution. At the pre-school level, we offer learning based on age-wise activities to improve the children’s cognitive and motor skills, while we provide practical, hands-on experiments to fuel a child’s imagination and their need for exploration at the primary stage. In the high school, students become adept at decision-making, analytical thinking and learn to cope in competitive environments.
Discipline and hard-work form a part of the NPS ethos and we inculcate the qualities from pre-school level. We encourage sports and cultural events to nurture the overall development of a child, which is important to us. To sum it up, the success of education lies in facilitating children to lead a life of purpose and give them skills to cope in an increasingly complex world. That is what we offer at NPS Hosur Road.
“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”
