"Learning comes alive when curiosity meets experience."

As part of our commitment to fostering experiential learning, NPS HRD students of Grade 5 embarked on an educational visit to the Visvesvaraya Industrial & Technological Museum, Bengaluru. Named after the visionary engineer and Bharat Ratna Sir M. Visvesvaraya, the museum offered an engaging platform where science, technology, and innovation came alive through interactive exhibits and live demonstrations.

The students enthusiastically explored galleries showcasing concepts in space science, electricity, mechanics, electronics, transportation, and scientific evolution. The hands-on exhibits encouraged them to observe, investigate, and apply scientific concepts beyond the classroom, transforming learning into an exciting and meaningful experience.

Beyond academic enrichment, the excursion provided valuable opportunities for students to strengthen their social and interpersonal skills. The informal learning environment also strengthened the bond between students and teachers, creating lasting memories while nurturing a shared love for discovery.

The visit beautifully reinforced that education extends far beyond textbooks. By connecting classroom learning with real-world applications, the field trip inspired students to think critically, innovate creatively, and appreciate the remarkable contributions of Sir M. Visvesvaraya to science and nation-building.

Overall, the excursion was both educational and inspiring, leaving students with a deeper appreciation for scientific discovery and the confidence to explore beyond the classroom.
