Saluting the Spirit of Kargil

National Public School, Hosur Road, observed Kargil Vijay Diwas with a solemn and inspiring special assembly to pay tribute to the unwavering courage, sacrifice, and patriotism of the brave soldiers of the Indian Army.

The assembly commenced with a thought-provoking speech by the student, inspiring everyone to uphold the values of patriotism, resilience, and national pride. A Hindi poem was recited, poignantly remembering the supreme sacrifices made by the heroes of the Kargil War. A teacher delivered an insightful address, reinforcing the significance of Kargil Vijay Diwas and highlighting the extraordinary courage, resilience, and determination displayed by the Indian Armed Forces in securing victory under some of the most extreme and challenging conditions. The speech inspired students to appreciate the immense sacrifices made by the soldiers in safeguarding the nation's sovereignty.

The programme concluded with the entire school community solemnly reciting the National Pledge, reaffirming their commitment to the nation and its ideals. The assembly served as a meaningful reminder that the freedom and security we enjoy today are the result of the selfless service and indomitable spirit of our armed forces. It instilled in students a deep sense of gratitude, respect, and responsibility towards the nation.
