Small hearts, big lessons—caring for elephants today, protecting nature for tomorrow.

On the occasion of World Elephant Day, the Grade 1 students at National Public School, Hosur Road presented a thoughtful and engaging assembly dedicated to celebrating one of nature’s most magnificent animals and raising awareness about the importance of elephant conservation.

The assembly began with an inspiring Thought for the Day, followed by fascinating facts about elephants - their remarkable intelligence, strong family bonds, gentle nature and vital role in maintaining ecological balance.

Our young learners confidently spoke about the challenges faced by elephants and the importance of protecting their natural habitats. Through a heartfelt wildlife pledge, they encouraged everyone to respect nature, show compassion towards animals and take responsibility for creating a safer world for all living beings.

Adding a beautiful cultural touch, the students recited a Kannada poem on elephants, captivating the audience with their enthusiasm and expressive presentation.

The learning was further enriched with an informative video on Project Elephant, helping students understand India's efforts towards elephant conservation and habitat protection.

The assembly concluded with a simple yet powerful message -sharing our planet means caring for every life that calls it home.
